1. Informational Purposes Only

The articles, guides, and other written material published on mediteation.app (the “Content”) are provided by mediTEAtion LLC for general informational and educational purposes only. The Content reflects our own interest in tea, ritual, and mindfulness, and represents our opinions and our summary of material we have read. It is not professional advice of any kind, and it is not a substitute for advice from someone qualified to give it.

2. We Are Not Health Care Professionals

We are not physicians, nurses, dietitians, nutritionists, herbalists, pharmacists, psychologists, therapists, or licensed practitioners of any health discipline. Nothing we publish is medical, psychological, nutritional, or therapeutic advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Reading the Content does not create a doctor-patient, therapist-client, or any other professional relationship between you and mediTEAtion LLC or anyone writing on its behalf.

Always seek the advice of a qualified health provider with any questions you have regarding a medical condition, your mental health, your diet, or any symptom. Never disregard professional medical advice, or delay seeking it, because of something you read here. If you think you may have a medical emergency, contact your doctor or your local emergency number immediately.

3. Traditional and Historical Use Is Not a Claim of Effect

Tea has a long history, and people in many cultures have reached for particular herbs and preparations for particular reasons for a very long time. When we write that a tea has been traditionally used for something, that it has a historical reputation, or that it is thought or said to do something, we are describing that history and that reputation. We are not asserting that it works, and such statements should not be read as a claim that it will do anything for you.

We have not conducted, commissioned, or verified any clinical testing, trial, or scientific study of any tea, blend, ingredient, or practice we describe. We do not claim that any of it is effective for any purpose.

These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Nothing we offer is intended to diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent any disease.

4. Artificial Intelligence Is Used in Our Research and Drafting

We use artificial intelligence tools to help research, organise, and draft some of the Content. A person at mediTEAtion reviews and edits material before it is published, but you should understand what these tools are and are not.

AI systems can be confidently wrong. They can produce information that is inaccurate, outdated, incomplete, or entirely fabricated — including invented facts, statistics, studies, quotations, dates, and sources. This behaviour is commonly called “hallucination.” Our editorial review reduces this risk but cannot eliminate it. We therefore cannot and do not warrant that any particular statement in the Content is accurate.

Please do your own research, and do not make decisions — particularly decisions about your health, your medication, or anything you intend to consume — based only on what you read here.

5. No Warranty of Accuracy or Completeness

The Content is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranty of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. Information can become outdated, and we are under no obligation to update it. We may change, correct, or remove any part of the Content at any time without notice.

6. Allergies, Sensitivities, Medications, and Particular Circumstances

Plants are not inert. Teas, herbs, and botanicals can cause allergic reactions, can interact with prescription and over-the-counter medications, and can be unsuitable in particular circumstances. You should speak with a qualified health provider before consuming anything described here if you:

  • are pregnant, trying to become pregnant, or breastfeeding;
  • are taking any medication, including over-the-counter medication or supplements;
  • have any medical condition, including any allergy or sensitivity;
  • are preparing anything for a child, or for an older or immunocompromised person;
  • are considering replacing or adjusting any treatment you currently follow.

Check the ingredients of anything you consume, and confirm the identity of any plant material you have not bought from a reputable supplier. Caffeine content varies considerably between teas and preparations.

7. Meditation, Breathwork, and Mindfulness Practices

Any meditation, breathing, or mindfulness practice we describe is offered as a general suggestion, not as therapy or clinical intervention. Breathing exercises in particular are not suitable for everyone and should not be practised while driving, in water, or anywhere a moment of light-headedness would be dangerous. Stop any practice that causes discomfort, and consult a qualified professional before beginning if you have any respiratory, cardiovascular, neurological, or mental health condition.

8. No Guarantee of Results

People differ. Nothing in the Content is a promise, guarantee, or prediction of any particular outcome, experience, or result, and any description of how something might feel is a description of one possibility rather than an assurance.

9. Third-Party Links and References

The Content may reference or link to third-party websites, products, publications, or materials. Those references are provided for convenience and do not constitute an endorsement. We do not control third-party material and are not responsible for its accuracy, availability, or practices.

10. Assumption of Risk and Limitation of Liability

You use the Content at your own risk, and you are solely responsible for how you act on it. To the fullest extent permitted by law, mediTEAtion LLC and its members, managers, officers, employees, contractors, and contributors shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses, arising out of or relating to your access to, reliance on, or use of the Content — whether based in contract, tort, negligence, strict liability, or any other theory, and whether or not we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion of certain warranties or the limitation of certain damages. In those jurisdictions our liability is limited to the greatest extent permitted by law. Nothing in this disclaimer excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.

11. Relationship to Our Other Terms

This disclaimer supplements, and does not replace, our Terms & Conditions and our Privacy Policy. Where a conflict exists on a matter this disclaimer addresses, this disclaimer controls as to the Content. These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules.

12. Changes to This Disclaimer

We may update this disclaimer from time to time. The effective date above indicates when it was last revised, and your continued use of the Content after a revision constitutes acceptance of it.
